Parts list and Auto Balloon in Nx siemens | CAD feature command in unigraphics
PLM software
drafting application assembly shows part list and auto balloon to indicate
the each part in sheet.
Parts lists are derived directly from the components listed in the Assembly
Navigator , thus they provide an easy way for you to create a bill of
materials for your assembly. Because parts list are a unique form of a
table, all the interactions used to manage the contents of a table are also
used to manage the contents of a parts list.
- There are a large variety of options that let you customize your parts list. You can
- Create one or more parts lists at any time during the creation of your assembly.
- Set a parts lists to automatically update as your assembly grows, or limit the parts list to update on demand. Note that the parts list is updated when the assembly structure in the Assembly Navigator is updated.
- Lock or renumber individual piece numbers, as needed.
- Create associative auto balloon callouts which update as the parts list changes.
- Define columns so that the attribute value of a component occurrence displays correctly. Key fields help to determine when component occurrences are considered the same item, giving the capability to count items that are alike.
- Create parts list templates to standardize and control the appearance of your parts lists.
If a parts list format was defined in a version of NX prior to NX 2, this
earlier format is used to create the parts list. Otherwise, a generic parts
list is created with three columns: a callout column, a general column
referencing the member name, and a quantity column.
